Turkey supports peace and stability efforts in the South Caucasus
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Gabala, Azerbaijan.
Among other topics, Erdoğan addressed the South Caucasus and Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
“We not only follow developments in the South Caucasus, but we also sincerely support the steps being taken to establish peace and stability in the region.
In this context, we consider the joint statement signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia on August 8 a successful step and expect its continuation,” the Turkish president stated.
