Turkish airlines expected to enter Armenian market, says MP Sargis Khandanyan
“The Turkish side has announced that the state airline will operate flights to Yerevan. How would you comment on that?” —a journalist asked Civil Contract MP Sargis Khandanyan during a parliamentary briefing.
“The entry of Turkish Airlines into the Armenian market has always been discussed, but due to political reasons the airline has not entered Armenia. I don’t know exactly when this will happen, because there are technical, legal, licensing issues and so on, but it is something that will take place in the near future,” Khandanyan replied.
