I am responding to Nikol Pashinyan in writing – Levon Ter-Petrosyan
The first president of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, responding to a journalist’s question about what caused his recent activism, which led him to criticize the authorities, replied: “I considered it necessary, so I spoke.”
To the question whether the ANC will not participate in the 2026 parliamentary elections, he replied: “Ask Levon Zurabyan about that.”
He did not answer the question whether he would be on the ANC list or head it. “Later, later,” said the first president.
To journalist's question about why Nikol Pashinyan takes his posts so seriously, the president said: “I am responding to Nikol Pashinyan in writing.”
